I would like to personally welcome you to the Wilson Mobile Veterinary Services webpage!  I am very excited to be starting this venture in London and the surrounding area.   After several years of practicing high quality medicine in companion animal clinics in the area I have found myself wanting to pursue practice ownership.   One of my favourite things about being a veterinarian is establishing long term relationships with both clients and their furry family members.  I feel strongly that developing relationships based on trust, honesty and education with clients so that we can work as a team to keep their pets healthy is a critical part of being a veterinarian.  By starting a veterinary house call service I am hoping to build these type of relationships by providing high quality, compassionate care within the comfort of your home.

There are many ways that you and your pet could benefit from this type of service.  Whether you have a busy work schedule, have multiple pets or children making a trip out of the house challenging, you or your pets have mobility issues, your pets are nervous in a clinic setting or are not good for car rides, this could be the perfect option for your pets veterinary care.

I offer a wide variety of non-emergent services within the comforts of your home.  If your pet requires x-rays, hospitalization or surgery, I work closely with a local base clinic (Oakridge Animal Clinic) or Emergency Clinic to ensure that the best possible care is provided for your family member.  If a specialty or referral service is required I am happy to help direct you to the correct facility to get the attention your pet needs.   Please see the services section of this webpage for more information on the variety of services I can provide.

One of the most important services I can provide is in home pet euthanasia.  Having a senior dog myself I often think about how I will want to provide end of life care for him when the time comes that I have to make a decision about his quality of life.  For this reason I wanted to offer mobile veterinary services, so that I can help guide people in the tough process of determining quality of life and when end of life care may be needed. Wilson Mobile Veterinary Services is able to provide this service in the comfort of the pets natural environment surrounded by their family members.

Wilson Mobile Veterinary Services also provides palliative and hospice care for pets suffering from chronic conditions ranging from cancer, arthritis, renal/kidney disease, diabetes and many more.  I can work closely with you and other veterinarians if desired to develop the best therapeutic approach for your pet.  This helps limit the number of visits to a clinic setting and therapies can be designed with your home environment and lifestyle in mind.   Providing guidance with how to measure pain, quality of life and making end of life decisions are very important to achieving the high standards of veterinary care provided at Wilson Mobile Veterinary Services.
